When Annette Marquez founded The Perfect Occasion LLC, the top priority was providing excellence in comprehensive event planning services to non-profit organizations, associations and small to medium sized businesses.
The best events happen when there is a partnership between the client and the planner. To this end, The Perfect Occasion seeks to build relationships that will last long after an event is over, the lights have been turned out and the participants have left.
Annette communicates regularly with the organization’s event staff, volunteer committee members, and other stakeholders. Comprehensive communication reduces misunderstandings and stress; increases creativity and ownership; and keeps the event on target and on budget.
A former Lincolnite Annette Marquez established her meeting and event planning company in 2005 while living in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Annette is now back in Lincoln and has brought her event and meeting expertise and company, The Perfect Occasion LLC, with her. She looks forward to serving the Lincoln Community.

Annette holds a BS degree in Restaurant Management from Kansas State University and a Meeting and Event Management Certificate from Dakota County Technical College in Minnesota.
